2018 China (Hunan) International Rail Transit Industry Exposition, sponsored by  China Railway Society, Hunan Sub-council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Changsha Municipal People’s Government was successfully held at Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center Nov 15th - 17th , 2018.

        The Expo had the honor to invite leaders from national ministries and societies, provincial and municipal governments, ambassadors and business delegations from more than 20 countries along the “Belt and Road”, industrial authoritative academicians and representatives.  

        Honored guests including the vice president of CCPIT Lu Pengqi, the headmaster of Central South University and academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering Tian Hongqi, the deputy secretary of Changsha Municipal Party Committee and the mayor of city Changsha Hu Zhongxiong, the vice mayor of city Zhuzhou Huang Fang gave speeches at the opening ceremony. Deputy governor of People’s Government of Hunan Province announced the beginning of the Exposition.

        The theme of 2018 Expo remains “Rail transit changes the world”, reaching an area of more than 40,000 sqm. More than 200 exhibitors including CRRC, CRSC, Huawei, Transdev, AREP have showcased the latest technology, products and achievements in the rail transit industry. During the three days of the Expo the number of professional audience reached 24,000, creating more than 100 million RMB of potential cooperation amount. 

        Highlights of the Expo were facial recognition, intelligent control and driverless cars technology presented by CRRC, CRSC, Huawei, Changsha Metro Group Co., Ltd etc. The Expo was also equipped with Urban Rail Transit Development Mode Forum, Belt and Road Rail Transit Matchmaking and Rail Transit Enterprise Roadshow aiming to provide a platform for product and technology exchange among domestic and overseas industrial enterprises.

        The expo was reported by more than 50 mainstreaming media including CCTV, People’s Daily, Guang Ming Daily, Hunan Daily, Eurail press，Railway Gazette，Tunnels And Tunnelling etc., having a great impact at home and abroad.
