2016 China (Hunan) International Rail Transit Industry Exposition and High-speed Railway Economy Forum, sponsored by China Railway Society, China Transportation Association, Hunan Sub-council of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT) and Changsha Municipal People’s Government was successfully held at Changsha International Convention and Exhibition Center Nov 28th - 30th , 2018.

         The Expo had the honor to invite leaders from national ministries and societies, provincial and municipal governments, more than 20 ambassadors and business delegations from 18 countries along the “Belt and Road”, domestic and overseas corporate representatives to the opening ceremony and forums. The scale and level of the event were unprecedented nationwide among same-type events of rail transit industry.

        The Expo reached an area of more than 45,000 sqm with 200 exhibitors including CRRC, CRSC, CRCC, Huawei Technologies, CSCEC, China Metro, SANY, Zoomlion etc, attracting 10,000 professional visitors.

        The concurrent High-speed Railway Economy Forum is the first large-scale and  high-level forum oriented at high-speed railway economy in the world aiming at discussing the influence of high-speed railway economy on regional economic development, promoting international cooperation and serving the “Belt and Road” strategy, with guests exceeding 800 at each session.

        The Expo was also equipped with concurrent events such as 2016 China Urban Railway Sustainable Development Forum and Rail transit Electromechanical Equipment & Informationization Summit, which attracted more than 600 guests from 40 domestic urban rail transit and metro companies. 

        The expo was reported by more than 40 mainstreaming media including CCTV, People’s Daily, Guang Ming Daily, China Daily, Hunan Daily and more than 10 industrial media, having a great impact at home and abroad.
